General
The Samson MK10 is an affordable, lightweight microphone stand that weighs less than 1.5 kg. It features a rugged synthetic tripod with foldable feet, which are provided with rubber knobs. The height of the stand can be altered with the help of a rotary adjustment mechanism.. The rod has a comfortable handle and the angle, and length can be adjusted to allow the rod to carry various weights for ideal balance. A microphone clip is also included. The MK10 features a discreet black finish.

Rating based on price/portability. I have sturdier stands, but this one I can chuck in a shoulder case and carry on the tube.
Light, sturdy for the weight and extremely practical.
I'll take my sturdier stands when I take the car, but this was a perfect portable stand for a gig. No problems at all on a very windy day.

Misschien tegen het zere been van de makers. Maar ik heb de standaard gekocht om een vloerlamp met een tom (drum) van te maken voor in onze studio. Hij houdt de tom net goed genoeg en deze is natuurlijk veel zwaarder als welke microfoon dan ook. Dus voor de prijs zeer degelijk.

Voor een mini-statief best hoog, vooral als je de telescoop en de hengel ook volledit uitschuift, maar verder een prima ding!
We gebruiken hem als micstand voor een 4x10 cab, en daar is hij prima voor. In hoogte instelbaar had naar mijn mening achter wege gelaten kunnen worden.
