The Lauten Audio Synergy LS-208 large-diaphragm condenser microphone is specially designed for close miking. While more than welcome in broadcasting studios, this microphone gives life to acoustic instruments. The outstanding off-axis sound rejection ensures that any possible crosstalk is kept to an absolute minimum, making it the ideal drum and wind instrument mic, and besides a low-cut filter, the LS-208 also provides a high-cut filter to round off the sharper edges of something like a tambourine. This flexible condenser microphone comes including a shockmount, clip and windshield.

Lauten Audio Synergy LS-208 Broadcast Condenser Microphone

Direct bij het uitpakken van het (vrij uitgebreide) pakket valt op dat de microfoon degelijk in elkaar is gezet. Ik ga de microfoon voor spraak (broadcast) gebruiken in een compacte home studio. In vergelijking met de bekende microfoons van Rode (Broadcaster) en Shure (SM7) is de Lauten een duurdere optie. Na wat sound checks lijkt de microfoon dit waard. De LS-208 is minder gevoelig voor (omgeving)geluiden dan de Broadcaster maar klinkt frisser dan een SM7. Mijn tip is wel om de bijgeleverde plopkap te gebruiken (bij close miking)
