Tuned in Bb, the Vincent Bach FH501 Flugelhorn has been set up to support an array of different genres and playing styles. Meanwhile, the silver-plated finish of this model reinforces its naturally rich and defined sound, while the 152mm bell and conical bore add some classic roundness and warmth, bringing the response of this model close to that of a French horn.
This flugelhorn also comes including a Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece, which doesn't just give the richness of sound a further boost, but makes achieving clear and stable notes in the higher registers that bit easier for beginner musicians, especially when combined with the medium rim, cup and the generally fast and smooth response of this instrument. The conical bore also creates a touch more resistance than a standard trumpet, helping students to properly develop their embouchure. To complete the pack, Vincent Bach has bundled up this flugelhorn with a soft case and valve oil.
