General
If your installation isn't working, a faulty cable could be the problem. Use the MTEST-1 by Mackie to find out if your cables are functioning as they should. This cable tester has a 5-way switch that enables you to test each pin, even with adapter cables. Using the included testing pins, you can even check the signal between two random points. The MTEST-1 is suitable for the most common connectors: jack and mini jack, mono and stereo jack, XLR, RCA, Speakon, MIDI and banana jack. The housing is built like a tank, as we've come to expect from Mackie, and the device works on a 9V battery (not included).

Een erg handig apparaatje voor een vriendelijke prijs, een must have voor in de studio. Stevig gebouwd, alleen de beschrijving laat wat te wensen over, maar met YouTube of internet kom je al een heel eind.

Superhandig om vóór een optreden nog snel even de kabels te testen. Ook XLR naar jack te testen. handig toestel en een aanrader voor techniekers en roadie's, zelfs voor artiesten.

Prima apparaat, stevig en werkt zoals het moet. Ik vindt de LEDs wel erg helder wat je eensgezinds kan verblinden als je tijdens een optreden even snel een snoertje wil testen, maar verder een gemakkelijke en handige tester.

Top apparaat! Voelt zeer stevig aan en ik heb al meerdere kabels weg kunnen gooien. Je kan elke input aan de linkerkant verbinden met elke input aan de rechterkant. Het werkt dus voor veel soorten kabels.

Recht-toe-rech-taan product om de kwaliteit van je kabels te testen. Voor hele korte patchkabels voor bijvoorbeeld je gitaarpedaaltjes is het wat lastig omdat de aansluitingen aan de overzijde van de behuizing zitten. Ik had wat dat betreft liever dat de aansluitingen naast elkaar zitten.
9V Batterij is niet meegeleverd. Ik gebruikte een al wat gebruikte batterij en dan nog is de LED zeer helder.
