If you're a drummer or percussionist who often plays unplugged gigs in small venues, the Meinl SUBCAJ1AWA subwoofer cajon might be a great choice. An opening is featured on the front of this cajon to allow it to project the rich low bass tones directly into the audience. In combination with its slightly larger-than-average size, that leads to a deep and powerful bass.
Meinl SUBCAJ1AWA subwoofer cajon: deep bass
The American white ash front plate clearly shows off the wood's beautiful grain, which contrasts nicely with the dark finish of the medium density fibreboard (MDF) body. On the bottom of the cajon, you'll find rubber feet for added stability and protection. The Subwoofer Cajon certainly lives up to its name, as it produces more low-frequency tones than a regular cajon does. Best of all, you won't need any amplification for your audience to hear those deep bass tones, making this the ideal instrument for small unplugged performances.
