General

The cajon no longer needs any introduction: a wooden box on which the player sits and strikes the front playing surface to produce a nicely warm and deep percussive tone. To push things a little further, Schlagwerk have developed the innovative MB110 Move Box. By dramatically slanting the box before shrinking it a little and providing a waist-strap, this unique cajon can be played standing as well as sitting.

Features of the Schlagwerk MB110 Move Box Cajon

Schlagwerk are already known for producing great percussive instruments with an especially high-quality finish. As such, the Move Box has been made entirely from birch and the playing surface has the added detail of a crate-style print, while inside, 40 spiral snares have been installed to create an acoustic snare-drum like sound as well as a classic cajon sound. The Move Box is just 29cm wide, has a top depth of 20cm, and a full height of 49cm.
