General
With the BY-MM1 AI, Boya has taken a smart step forward: this is an on-camera shotgun microphone with AI noise cancellation for clearer speech, even in challenging environments. Thanks to its supercardioid polar pattern, it primarily picks up sound from the front whilst suppressing interference from the sides and rear. You can connect it via 3.5 mm TRS or USB-C, making it compatible with cameras, smartphones/tablets and computers (iOS/Android, macOS/Windows).
