This black Planet Waves CP02 capo for western and electric guitars with a rounded fretboard is a great aid for guitar players. With a capo you can shorten the length of the strings and thus virtually 'move' the nut of your guitar. The CP02 is made of light yet solid aluminium so your guitar doesn't get heavy while playing with a mounted capo.

This Planet Waves capo is specifically designed for fretboards with a radius. The CP02 is equipped with a small wheel that allows you to precisely set the pressure that will be exacted on the strings. This also prevents your guitar from getting out of tune after use of the Planet Waves CP02.

Par rapport à un capo à pinces, il est plus léger et plus maniable. Par rapport au Schubb à roulettes que j'avais avant, il est plus facile à installer (mollette trop petite et trop dure sur le Schubb).
Je l'utilise sur une 6 cordes avec un sillet de tête de 48mm. Je suis déçu par la justesse à partir de la troisième case : la corde Mi 6éme (basse) est fausse de presque un demi-ton. J'espère que les choses s'arrangeront avec le temps si le caoutchouc s'use selon la grosseur des cordes.
(commandé le 29 avril et reçu le 10 mai en point relais)

Ik heb exact hetzelfde model capo van D'addario en die werkt perfect. Koste toen iets van een tientje, maar is nu alleen nog maar in twee veel duurdere metallic kleurvarianten te koop.
Volgens mij is de verkrijgbare capo van Fazeley ook gewoon dezelfde capo met slechts een andere merkopdruk. Die kost nu net geen tientje. Over afwerking van die Fazeley capo kan ik verder niets oordelen.
Maar dit model is sowieso erg handig wegens het kleine model wat niet in de weg zit, en bovendien kan je met de stelschroef zelf de spanning op je snaren bepalen!

Ik had eerst de verkeerde Capo besteld namelijk voor de klassieke gitaar maar dat was geen probleem want mijn bestelling werd na een telefoontje gelijk aan gepast, super service! Capo CP02 werd mij geadviseerd door mijn gitaar leraar en het werkt prima en makkelijk aan te brengen. Klemt goed en je kan met het wieltje de klemdruk bepalen.
