Reloop 2x RMP-4 multimedia player + RMX-60 DJ mixer DJ set

General

This DJ set by Reloop has almost everything you need to get started. It consists of two RMP-4 multimedia players/DJ controllers and the professional 4-channel RMX-60 mixer. As well as being able to play CDs, there's USB and MIDI control functionality as well as eight trigger pads, giving you four performance modes. The mixer is a digital powerhouse that is club standard, but more affordable than some other models.

Features

According to Reloop themselves, the RMX-60 is a classic performance club mixer. Of course, the term 'classic' only refers to how the device looks, as this mixer is fully digital. It's remarkably versatile too, offering eleven inputs—two phono, two line and four CD inputs—and six outputs. A large parameter display shows you all you need to know and eight studio-grade performance effects add additional flavour. Each channel has its own low-pass and high-pass filters which are located above the faders, and it's also possible to adjust the EQ characteristics.

Professional club mixer

Basically, the RMX series is Reloop's answer to Pioneer's DJM mixers. Pioneer may have set the club standard, but the RMX-60 certainly measures up in functionality, as Reloop have provided it with a healthy dose of innovative features without sacrificing the mixer's familiar design. In short, the RMX-60 is a solid, high-end club mixer with an exceptional design and build quality.

Powerful Performance modes

The RMP-4 has four instantly accessible Performance Modes, each of which has its own button right above the jog wheel. When in Hot Cue mode, the trigger pads allow you to line up 8 hot cues. The same goes for the Hot Loop mode. In Loop Roll mode, you can trigger up to 8 different loop roll lengths varying from 1/32 to 4/1 beats. Finally, in Sample mode , you can trigger eight different samples if you need a shot of extra creativity for your mix. Combine all that with the RMP-4's scratching features, and you have a wide range of effects at your disposal. The large start/stop and cue buttons and the familiar lay-out ensure you can get to work right away!

The RMP-4's well-designed display makes it easy to access relevant information about your music library, for instance, so you can load your tracks quickly. Furthermore, with the high-resolution pitch fader, you can make minute adjustments to help you synchronise two tracks. You can also use the large jog wheel in vinyl mode, which treats your digital tracks like vinyl, for realistic scratch and slip effects. Finally, the RMP-4 is an excellent MIDI controller as well, allowing you to control many of your DJ software's various features. Lastly, there are mappings available for most common software packs, such as Traktor, Serato DJ and Virtual DJ.
