General

With the tinyPIANO, Korg offers parents a chance to invest in their children's musical talents. The miniature piano allows toddlers and infants to take their first steps towards a musical future. Twenty-five velocity-sensitive keys allow them to freely express themselves, and they can also enjoy one of the fifty built-in demo songs. Powered by six AA batteries, the tinyPIANO functions for up to fifteen hours without any cables, but it's possible to use an optional 9-volt adapter as well.

Korg tinyPIANO: a toy piano?

The term toy piano doesn't really do justice to the many features of the Korg tinyPIANO. A built-in speaker delivers a remarkably convincing piano sound with a crystal-clear tuning and, in addition to several piano sounds, the instrument also offers various organ, bell and music box sounds. More grown-up functions like Key Transpose and Octave Shift are also available for anyone who desires a bit more musical freedom. The tinyPIANO is a real Korg instrument for children, but chances are adults will also love to try their hand at this black instrument.

Wrote the following about Korg tinyPIANO-BK miniature piano black

What a Gem this tiny Piano is. It is well built, great paint finish and sounds and looks like the real thing. Everything Korg say about this model is spot on. My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves it. In addition to the 25 inbuilt sounds there are 50 demo tunes which include Kiddy tunes and a selection of serious Music with the option of playing along with them.This Keyboard is no novelty or toy and has two very clever extras. The O in Korg has been changed to a Teddy Head and the default sound at switch on is a Toy Music Box sound, which is very deceptive as the real piano sounds cam be accessed later. Why is not a toy. Because adults can play it aswell and it even looks good as a centree piece on a sideboard or shelf.It's not often I say this but I am besotted with it. At first it appears expensive but it is worth every penny as it is a genuine Tiny Piano. The only improvement I can think off is a dedicated carry case if they havn't got one already or a deluxe Tiny Grand.
