General

This Silver Concerto C by Hohner can rightly be called the showpiece of this German brand. Each instrument is completely unique as the lid, comb, mouthpiece and parts of the slide mechanism are handmade with great attention to detail and with extreme precision. This chromatic harmonica was developed in collaboration with legendary musician Tommy Reilly. The cover plates and body of this harmonica are made of solid 925 sterling silver, and the chrome-plated brass tuning plates, with their thickness of 1.3 mm, are thicker than the tuning plates on most other traditional instruments, ensuring higher volume.

Silver cover plates and body

Hohner's Silver Concerto C is rock solidly built with components of the highest quality. The solid, silver construction ensures a particularly clear sound and powerful bass. The tonal purity and dynamic range of this instrument are praised by musicians all over the world. The newly designed mouthpiece with 3-piece design with round channel openings limits air loss and guarantees quiet slide action. Especially for classically trained soloists who place high demands on an instrument, this is the ultimate chromatic harmonica. In terms of sound, expression and playability, this is the best available. The tuning of this harmonica is C-major.
