The medium barrel length and 1.13mm top opening ensure pure intonation and that the legato is as smooth as the staccato. This mouthpiece is able to shape a superbly rich sound defined by colour and depth, especially in the higher registers, and while the enhancement of one feature usually comes at the detriment to another, that's certainly not the case here, since the sound and intonation as well as the volume is optimally refined.
