The 610 Cedro is the entry-level model from the Spanish guitar brand, Perez. This classical guitar was hand-crafted from high-quality materials using traditional techniques, and as such it offers excellent quality for its price. Solid cedar was chosen for the top of the 610 Cedro to give the guitar a warmer, deeper sound than the Abeto (spruce) design, which has a brighter sound. Perez 610 Cedro: 4/4 solid top

The Perez 610 Cedro is a full-fledged 4/4 classical guitar with a solid cedar top, giving it a fantastic, full sound, particularly in comparison to a laminated-top guitar. Solid-top guitars provide plenty of volume and sustain for a beautiful sound that keeps singing. Furthermore, the sides and back as well as the neck are all made of mahogany, and the neck is paired with a 19-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard. The unique combination of woods creates an incredibly warm sound with deep bass levels, rich mids and a sweet high.

General characteristics

The expert artisanship that went into making this guitar can be seen clearly in the finishing touches. Just like its bigger brothers, the Perez 610 Cedro has a sleek, no-frills finish. It features tasteful light-coloured body bindings and a colourful wooden rosette – a feature that you'll typically find on more expensive models.
