The GC32C and its wood types

The most important factor in shaping the sound of a guitar lies in the materials used to build it, particularly the wood used for the top. Yamaha have selected a beautiful reddish-brown, American cedar top for the GC32-C, giving it a rich, warm and deep sound. The solid rosewood sides and back add sparkling highs and sultry lows and you can keep it all safe and sound in the included Yamaha soft case.

The nut and saddle space the strings of a guitar and literally keep them in place. Those of the Yamaha GC-32-C are made from real bone. Compared to the synthetic material that's typically used for the nut and saddle, bone is much harder, ensuring that the strings won't cut into the parts and become muted or stuck.
