Packed with all the prestige that Cordoba Guitars has to offer, the C12 CD Luthier classical guitar is shaped by a solid cedar soundboard, an all-solid rosewood body and a beautifully detailed design that includes a traditional Spanish heel to guarantee excellent stability for decades to come. Since this is a Luthier Series model, every bit has been produced and built by hand, which makes the more aesthetic features like the intricately woven and inlaid soundhole rosette and flamed maple centre strip that runs across the back and up the base, that bit more astonishing.

The Cordoba C12 CD: Raised Fretboard

There are a few other elements that elevate the build of this model, including the latticed internal bracing, which not only promotes tonal clarity, packs life into the mid-range and strengthens overall resonance, but reinforces the soundboard. The ebony fretboard has also been raised: a technique that makes the highest notes more accessible and provides a little more playing room when setting up the neck via the fitted dual-action truss rod. A deluxe Cordoba Hardshell Case complete with a built-in humidifier also comes included, so this undeniably professional, concert-ready C12 CD classical guitar can be kept happy and healthy for life.

Cordoba C12 CD Luthier Classical Guitar with Case

I already have a Cordoba C10 Spruce which is a lovely guitar, but my new C12 Cedar is even better. It has a great tone and sounds absolutely beautiful and the raised fingerboard really does allow for easier fingering of the upper frets.
