General
A more-than affordable introduction to the classical guitar, the LaPaz 002 3/4 sets up any beginner with warm sound and the comfortable playing feel of lower tension, nylon strings. Nylon strings are softer than steel strings, so less pressure is needed when holding down notes and chords. And, since this guitar has been built using basswood, you're assured of a balanced acoustic sound and plenty of definition whether finger-picking or strumming. This 3/4-size model is the perfect learning partner for children aged 8 and up as well as fully-grown adults who prefer a smaller, more manageable guitar.
Traditional Design with Modern Elements
To accommodate effortless chord-grabbing without accidentally touching the wrong string, LaPaz have equipped the 002-3/4 with a traditionally wide string nut. This also makes finger-picking more accessible, while the truss rod inside the neck enhances the stability and gives you the ability to adjust the neck if needed. White binding and a set of gold-plated machine heads with white buttons seal up both the tuning and the aesthetics.

Gekocht voor kleindochter.
Laatst geprobeerd en gemerkt dat het idd een kindergitaar is. Snaren liggen hoog, erg vaak stemmen. Voor kindervingers toch wat lastiger om te spelen. Ziet er wel leuk uit maar kids vinden het wat lastig.

I previously owned a guitalele which I've left back in Malaysia & bought this guitar to replace it. I prefer a small size guitar for myself for portability. The Barbie pink certainly lends a great attractiveness to play it often and it sounds great. I read some reviews that said it needed to be tuned often so I took note of that. Now that I have it I think it's just the standard classical guitar nylon strings thing, it stays tuned fine after a while. I love my guitar.

Prijs/kwaliteit is wat van toepassing is voor deze gitaar. Mijn dochter is er helemaal weg van, speelt er lekker op en glimt van trots als ze hem laat zien aan anderen.
Als detail-freak baal ik van het feit dat er lijm resten rondom de brug zitten. Helemaal omdat ze slordig zijn uitgeveegd. Was het gewoon "dikke" lijm dan viel het denk ik minder op.
Verder valt op dat de gitaar in ieder geval nu hij nog zo nieuw is veel meer gestemd moet worden dan ik van andere gitaren gewend ben. Maar elk nadeel heeft zijn voordeel: mijn dochter gaat zo wel snel leren hoe ze een gitaar moet stemmen ;-)

De LaPaz 3/4e gitaar is een leuk gitaartje voor beginners of voor zomeravonden aan het kampvuur. De sound van het gitaartje is voor de prijs erg goed. De lage tonen komen er, door het linde hout, goed in uit. De afwerking van de gitaar is netjes en fijn. De tuners van de gitaar voelen wat goedkoop aan. Daar is overduidelijk op bespaartd. Je merkt dat de gitaar, zeker in het begin, wat sneller ontstemt is en de tuners kraken ook bij het aandraaien. Toch mag dit de pret niet drukken.
Het leuke aan de LaPaz gitaren is dat ze in allerlei kekke kleurtjes te krijgen zijn. Ik zelf heb voor een roze gekozen omdat ik deze als 'reisgitaar' mee wilde nemen naar pinkpop om daar lekker in de ochtenduren gitaar te spelen op met mensen op de camping. Dit doel heeft hij prima gediend en het is nu m'n gitaar voor zomerse zwoele avonden aan het strand met een kampvuur.

Deze 3/4 gitaar is nog wat groot voor mijn dochter van 8 jaar maar dat is juist goed om ermee te groeien.
De kwaliteit van de instrument in zijn geheel is pico bello. Heel mooi afgewerkt en een uitblinker in de klas.
