General

LaPaz's Classical Series consists of a number of guitars where the difference is in the sides and back. In the case of this C50N, these are made of sapele, a type of wood with similar warm sound characteristics to mahogany. The spruce top complements this nicely and provides a fine sparkle in the high end. In short, with the LaPaz C50N you get a beautiful and good sounding instrument for a very modest price. Ideal for beginners, but also excellent for advanced guitarists.

Erg fijne gitaar voor een beginner zoals ik ben. Eerst had ik een gitaar met stalen snaren, maar deze is veel fijner. Het stemmen was in het begin even lastig, maar dat lag meer aan mijn onervarenheid. Een klein stemkastje voor een paar euro is handig om erbij aan te schaffen. Deze gitaar is een echte aanrader met een mooi geluid.

Enige tijd geleden heb ik, vanwege MS, mijn Telecaster en Countrygitaar aan een muziekschool geschonken. Echter, de drang om weer te spelen is zo groot dat ik heb bedacht "Ik ga het weer leren zoals ik ooit begonnen ben". Vandaar de beslissing om weer een eenvoudige Spaanse gitaar aan te schaffen. Ondanks dat ik me alle akkoorden precies herinner, moet ik (mijn vingers) helemaal opnieuw beginnen. Confronterend, maar leuk om te doen. Ik ben te kort bezig om te zeggen dat mijn plan is gelukt. Het is in ieder geval een fijn gitaar.
