Furnished with a solid Canadian Engelmann spruce soundboard, a tight thinline body and a slimline neck, the Ortega Family Series Pro RCE145NT electro-acoustic classical guitar has been primed for performance-grade playing comfort. The spruce soundboard combines with a mahogany back and sides to result in articulate sound with a big and lush, mid-range-rich projection while the American nato neck has been finished with a walnut fretboard and couples with a matching walnut bridge to add some extra tonal warmth. The varying shades of wood complete a subtle, high-contrast look and everything has been given a coat of high-gloss lacquer for the final, elegant touch.

The body of the Ortega Family Series Pro RCE145NT guitar is just 85mm deep: an ultra-shallow, thinline design that supports a snug and manageable feel - even for younger guitarists - and without compromising on the sound. With a 48mm-wide nut, the neck is also a lot slimmer than standard and teams up with the extra-deep cutaway to ensure smooth playability all the way up the fretboard, supporting players that are more used to the dimensions of a fully electric model. Plugged into an acoustic amplifier or PA, the integrated MagusPRO/G preamp system delivers natural and balanced sound that can be dialled in via the fitted volume and three-band tone controls - even a tuner comes built in.
