Meinl's CL18 deluxe claves are full-blown percussion instruments. The two solid hardwood sticks, about 20 cm in size, produce a short, dry click when you strike them together. Of course, you can also use the claves on other surfaces, such as drumheads, wooden boards, tin cans, you name it. These instruments are often used in Latin-American music, such as salsa, but they can be used in many other musical styles. Give your creativity free reign!
