The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb guitar amplifier is highly popular amongst both studio musicians and veterans of the stage. As it's not packing too much power, this 22-watt '65 Deluxe can give you that delicious Fender crunch while keeping the volume at a manageable level. It's ideal for studios and smaller gigs! Over the years, Fender has released a number of Deluxe-series reissues, but this Limited Edition model is not quite the same. Its most noticeable feature is, of course, its tweed finish with the Bassman grill cloth. However, it's not the most important adjustment, as the standard Jensen speaker has been replaced by a Jensen P12Q Alnico model.
Construction
This Limited Edition model largely adheres to the blueprint set by the original '65 Deluxe Reverb. A two-channel 6v6 tube amplifier with the famous Fender cleans and that delectable Deluxe crunch. Instead of a crunch or drive, the '65 has a vibrato channel in addition to the standard clean channel, boasting both an adjustable vibrato effect and the famous Fender Tube Reverb. As such, the '65 Reverb is highly versatile - it's great for surf, blues, rock and Americana music. The Jensen P12Q Alnico speaker gives the amp's cleans - which were already impressive in the standard model - a little more sparkle and definition, while also adding some bite and power to its crunch.
Limited edition
