The Fender Blues Junior III is the third generation of Blues Juniors from Fender's popular Hot Rod series. Where the regular Blues Junior looks well-behaved, the Limited Edition Royal Blood is everything but. The British Red Tolex finish testifies to that, and to complete the look it's been equipped with a beige speaker cloth with an FSR (Fender Special Run) badge. Despite the fact that the amp only has one channel, it still produces crystal-clear Fender cleans and warm tube overdrive. To complete the Fender feast, it's also equipped with a spring reverb.

Royal Blood: royal tube sound

The Royal Blood preamp is equipped with three 12AX7 tubes, which are known around the world for producing a warm tube sound. In the power amp, you'll find a pair of EL-84 tubes. This circuit is good for 15 W of tube power, which also means that the power tubes help out with the overdrive. That means that you can quickly produce that luscious tube amp sound with plenty of compression at a decent volume. This baby is also compatible with your favourite effect pedal, so one channel is really more than enough.

Normally the Fender Blues Junior III is equipped with an Eminence speaker, but the Royal Blood version comes with a Celestion Greenback speaker. This produces that characteristic vintage sound that you'll recognise from the best classic rock albums. If one speaker isn't enough for you, then you can take advantage of the 8-ohm connector to connect an external speaker cabinet (not included).
