It is equipped with a newly developed preamplifier for a valve-amp emulation. The Edition Blue 15R authentically reproduces harmonic overtones and has a dynamic response to your way of playing. Moreover, the clean and lead channel each have their own amount of reverb.

Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 15R Combo: contemporary and classic

The Clean channel of the 15R is home to a vast range of modern as well as classic sounds, to which you can add a mild vintage tube edge with the Softclick circuit. Additionally, you can put your faith in the hands of the Lead channel of this Hughes & Kettner for rugged, legendary British rock sounds. Both channels share an equalizer section with bass, mid and treble. The wide range of sounds of the Edition Blue 15R is largely determined with the mid potentiometer.

Edition Blue series

The blue bulbs immediately show you you're dealing with a Hughes & Kettner. These compact amplifiers were specifically designed for small stages, studios or home use. The custom-made Rockdriver Blue speakers produce a defined sound that comes very close to that of valve-driven amplifiers. You can have an amp from the Edition Blue series with a spring reverb (R), or a digital effects section (DFX) that houses chorus, flanger, reverb and delay.
