The crazy-popular Positive Grid Spark takes the next step up in the tight form of the Spark 2. Just as compact as the original, this edition comes with an array of upgrades and extra features, all to take the playing experience to another level. The processing power has been doubled and the power has been raised by an extra 25% - pushing the output of this modelling combo amp up to 50 Watts. Via the partner app, you're also granted access to a Groove Looper, which boasts up to 60 seconds of recording time and opens up the creative options, so you can lay down simple loops and jam along; add some drums so you can play along to a beat; or even weave some layered sonic rugs - it's all at your fingertips.

The Positive Grid Spark 2: Extra Sonic Force

Via the Positive Grid Tone Cloud, you gain access to over 10,000 guitar sounds, all of which have been given a forceful upgrade thanks to improved HD amplifier modelling, an all-new DSP engine and the addition of the exclusively developed Sonic IQ audio chip. All of this has been teamed up with the updated speaker design, so you're getting more depth, improved dynamics, more bass definition and better overall clarity than ever. The Spark 2 also has advanced AI on board, so you can simply request your dream sound, load it up and start playing, while up to eight of your custom presets can be saved and called up later.

Even More Options, Even More Creativity

Once you've selected your sound, the details can be tweaked using the physical amplifier controls, but even deeper sound tweaking features are on offer via the Spark app, so you can pull even more power out of this slimline combo. Besides access to the Positive Grid Tone Cloud, you can use the range of other tools on offer, including Auto Chords which is able to actively analyse a specific song and bring up the chords so you can learn to play it with ease. If you prefer to jam along to a dynamic rhythm section, then harness the machine learning of Smart Jam and back yourself up with drums and bass. Audio can also be played through the amp as backing tracks, streamed from your phone cable-free over Bluetooth 5.0 and, the Spark 2 is also easily linked up over Wi-Fi so you can install the latest update. In fact, this amp is so flexible, it can even run for up to eight hours on a rechargeable Spark Battery (not included).
