General
Get that classic '50s VOX sound in the comfort of your own home with the AC15 Custom. This 15W full-tube amp offers two channels - Normal and Top Boost. These channels are capable of creating crystal-clear VOX cleans to powerful, creamy overdrives. The 12-inch Celestion G12M Greenback speaker is powered by three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes, resulting in a timeless, endlessly dynamic guitar sound.
VOX AC15C1: two built-in effects
Expand your sound with the classic VOX tremolo effect. The speed and intensity of the effect are fully adjustable with the Speed and Depth knobs and add the built-in Spring Reverb to get a roomier, warm sound. Both effects can be toggled in and out with the optional VOX VFS2A foot switch.
Expansion possibilities for more sound variation
The AC15 Custom is equipped with a switchable 8/16-Ohm output for an external speaker cabinet, allowing you to experiment with different speakers and cabinet dimensions. When this output is in use, the internal speaker of the AC15 is automatically switched off. There's a separate output so an extra speaker cabinet can be added for an even fuller sound.

I was lucky enough to get a B Stock version - cheaper and just as good. After years with a oslid stae combo amp I wanted to go back to valve - and good reverb and tremolo. This amp is a joy: bot the effects deliver - in trumps - and the tonal range through the two channels is a joy. I'm still exploring it and looking forward to hours of fun!

Veel versterker voor weinig geld, zowel qua toon en volume. Klinkt heerlijk, vooral met wat donkere gitaren zoals mijn tele deluxe. Reverb is wel matig.

deze had ik 10 jaar eerder moeten hebben, heb er nu een AC 30 speaker kast bij aanhangen, waanzinnig geluid, en meer dan geluid genoeg, je kan er een redelijke zaal live mee vullen ( ook onze drummer mept er niet meer boven uit....) Ook zeer gunstig geprijsd......

Echt een hele fijne versterker waar je een divers scala aan sounds uit kunt halen. Vanwege het formaat is hij erg geschikt om thuis te spelen maar je kan er ook prima live mee optreden.

Ik heb al een AC30, maar het lijkt wel of hij steeds zwaarder wordt. Dus meenemen dat wordt steeds minder. Daarom is de AC15 een mooie aanvulling. Een stuk lichter en kleiner en hetzelfde geluid als de AC30.
Thuis nog steeds het volume op 2, want het is verbazingwekkend hoe luid een 15 w versterker kan zijn. Maar 15 w buizen is heel wat anders dan 15 w transistors.
Kortom een goede koop.

Na mijn keuze om een AC30S1 versterker aan te schaffen ben ik hier toch op teruggekomen. De VOX AC15C1 is een versterker die veel meer geschikt is voor het spelen in huis. Vergeleken met de AC30 is deze versterker een stuk beter te regelen in toon en volume. Ook kan je de buizen wat meer laten "koken" zodat je de overdrive zonder pedals kan krijgen. Met de mastervolume kan je zelfs op een lager volume spelen, iets dat de AC30S1 niet kon.
Al met al een super versterker met mooie klanken en heel veel mogelijkheden!
