The VOX Micro Superbeetle Guitar is a remarkably compact mini-stack with the classic VOX look and a modern, flexible setup. If you use it as a stack, you get up to 20W of power through a 4-inch woofer in the cabinet, while the 1.5-inch tweeter in the head provides extra definition. Unplug the head and you have a portable 5W guitar amp with built-in speaker and rechargeable battery. With Clean, Drive and High Gain as well as Bluetooth, this is an ideal practice and jam solution.

Update: de HF-tweeter in de head en de woofer in de cab werken wel samen wanneer de Bluetooth wordt gebruikt. Da's mooi. Daardoor klinkt de muziek vanaf je smartdevice/laptop volwaardig . Je gitaar klinkt echter ook dan alleen via de woofer.

Erg leuk ding in de typische VOX-uitvoering. Cute!! Klinkt heel goed. In alle beschrijvingen en ook de manual wordt aangegeven dat wanneer je het kabinet erbij gebruikt, de interne speaker in de head als HF-tweeter zou werken. Dat is NIET het geval. Als je de cab inplugt, wordt de speaker in de head uitgeschakeld. Staat wel in een (hele kleine) noot op de site vermeld..... Is jammer. Hij zou 20 watt moeten leveren maar in de praktijk valt dat erg tegen. Niettemin klinkt het setje erg goed; echte VOX-toon. De 3 modes (clean/crunch/hi-gain) zijn heel nuttig en hi-gain is ook echt hi-gain!. Ik vind de prijs echter erg hoog t.o.v. de concurrentie. Je moet wel echt een VOX-liefhebber zijn (zoals ik) om hier €330,- voor neer tellen......Ik weet nog niet of ik hem behoud.
