The Boss Cube Street II follows up the ever-popular Roland Cube, and this smart next-gen stereo amplifier is still designed for both vocals and instruments, and an even better gigging partner for buskers and roaming performers. The Cube Street II kits you out with two input channels for microphones and instruments; a sweet bank of built-in effects; a harmony function; and a useful three-band EQ section. Even a looper with up to 45 seconds of recording time has been integrated alongside a chromatic tuner, and this travel-ready amplifier can be powered by AA alkaline batteries or the included AC power supply.

The Cube Street II: Improved Sound

The ground breaking Roland Cube came out way back in 2007, so there's been plenty of time to make some considerable tweaks and upgrades. The first is the injection-moulded ABS cabinet design, which doesn't just improve durability, but is thankfully a touch lighter at just 4.4kg for eased lugging between locations. The power capacity has also been doubled to 10 Watts (2x 5 Watts) so that this little amp can now truly compete with traffic and street noise, and if you don't need to use it at full power, you can flip it into Eco mode and extend the battery life.

Maximum Flexibility

The Cube Street II supports an immense range of different instruments since the Mic/Inst channel has been fitted with a combo input that can take XLR as well as 6.3mm jack cables, meaning that it can not only handle a microphone, but a keyboard or even a digital wind instrument. The second channel has been fitted with a standard jack input for an electric guitar or electro-acoustic guitar and colours in the sound with the help of the integrated amplifier module which offers everything from clear cleans to solid leads.

A Modern Amp

Pulling the legendary Cube into the future, this amp can be set up to share your performance with the rest of the world, whether you're recording, or live streaming to a computer or smartphone via USB or i-CUBE. By adding the Boss BT-DUAL Bluetooth Audio MIDI Adaptor (not included), you can wirelessly stream backing tracks to the amp to beef up your set, or use the wireless connectivity in combination with the free Cube Street II Editor app and gain deeper control over the internal effects for a fully customised sound.
