General

The VOX AC15C1X offers the real vintage amp vibe with 15 watts of pure tube power, and it has looks that honour the VOX heritage. It's amplified by three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes to provide a generous dose of British tube charm. Two channels, Normal and Boost, are at your disposal, and spring reverb and tremolo are also built in.

Alnico Blue

The AC15C1X sets itself apart from the regular AC15C1 with its speaker, which is a Celestion Alnico Blue (as opposed to a Greenback). This 12-inch speaker is a reissue of the G12, which was used back in the '60s, and is equipped with alnico magnets for particularly sparkly mids and trebles. Especially in combination with the VOX tube circuit, the excellent dynamic nature of the speaker really shines, making this amp a great way to upgrade your band's sound.

Connectors

It is indeed a beautiful thing when you get to experience that great tube sound from a variety of different speakers. That's why the AC15C1X is equipped with a speaker output with switchable impedance (8/16 ohms) that turns off the internal speaker. There's also a second speaker output for an extra speaker that can be used together with the Alnico Blue. Finally, the optional VOX VFS2A foot switch makes it easy to switch the effects from a distance while you play.
