Gallien-Krueger Fusion 212 800 Watt 2x12 Combo Bass Guitar Amplifier

General

The Gallien-Krueger Fusion 212 Combo drops a mountainous 800 Watt output, all of it fully coated in the warm and dynamic flavour of a 6-step valve-driven preamp section loaded with three 12AX7 tubes. Building on more than 50 years of experience, this GK offering is a 100% in-house innovation that combines sought-after sound with plenty of power and professional features. It's also surprisingly lightweight, so you can still get that more vintage valve induced sound, but without having to heft around a complete stack. Jack in your bass, tweak the Pad/Voice pot mounted just next to the input until it matches the output of your bass and, to quickly change things up, the same pot can pushed in to toggle between a classic or modern voicing, which also alternates the pot LED colour between white for classic and blue for modern so you always know which mode is selected.

The GK Fusion 212: Traditional Dynamics & Warmth

Thanks to the valves fitted in the preamp section, this hybrid combo brings all of the traditional dynamic response and warmth needed to back up expressive playability. The equalizer valve adds extra depth to the output, while extra filters can be dialled in via the Cut, Body, Contour, Hi-Cut and Presence pots, which also feature a colour-coded push function to toggle between voicings. To fatten things up a touch or coat everything in some character-packed overdrive, GK has also added a complete drive section. Hook up the included one-button footswitch and toggle the drive on and off hands-free

The Extras

Everything the Legacy 212 has to offer is reproduced in full detail via the mounted set of 12 inch Neodymium speakers, which come straight out of the GK workshop in California. The plywood cabinet has been internally reinforced to strengthen the overall build while a dampening lining has also been applied to the interior to absorb treble frequencies at the rear, reducing unwanted resonance and leaving tight sound behind. Welcome extras include an effects loop, an XLR DI output, a headphone output and AUX input.
