Designed with pure passion and unwavering dedication, the Phil Jones Bass BG-120 Bass Cub Pro combo is a compact little monster of a bass amp the compromises nothing on power or low-end definition. Basically, this wee amp plays like an amp three times its size (or more). The two 5 inch PJB Neo-Power Chrome-Dome speakers inside deliver big, impressive sound that hits an impressive 120 Watts at 8 Ohms or 240 Watts at 4 Ohms. The Bass Cub Pro even features a stereo input, meaning that it's able to support a drum machine or even a phone as well as an electric bass guitar, and that's next to the headphone output, which accommodates more private practise sessions. Dialled in via a detailed five-way EQ section, this bass combo has been built for ease as well as power.

Ik had al eerder 2x 5 c2 cabinet gekocht. Was al heel goed. Maar dit setje met de 120 pro en de C2 cabinet klinkt echt, heel volwassen. Goed bruikbaar voor thuis maar zeker ook voor kleiner optredens. Is echt heel clean. Dat betekent ook dat wanneer je een matig instrument aansluit het ook echt bagger klinkt… koop dan iets anders. Met contrabas klinkt deze set subliem. Gisteren eerste keer een optreden gedaan met de set. Klonk echt fantastisch. Veel definitie het mooie warme akoestische geluid van de contractbasis werd goed versterkt. Ben je op zoek naar een handzaam setje voor kleine en middel grote optredens dan is de een goede set. Is natuur lijk geen koopje maar dat is kwaliteit nooit in de wereld van de bascombo s.
