Handig aangezien ik mijn SDD niet kan uitbreiden. Hij is niet snel met klene bestanden, maar ik heb vooral bestanden die ik niet veel gebruik, niet snel hoeven te zijn, maar wel bij de hand wil hebben erop gezet. Bijvoorbeeld documentenarchief, Garageband en iTunes muziek library. De SD kaart draait gewoon mee jn mijn Time Machine backups.

Tip: herformatteer de kaart voor gebruik naar Apple HFS, journaling, case insensitive met GUID/GPT partition. Dat is sneller én je kunt de Jet Drive dan ook encrypten met Filevault.

De afwerking vond ik een beetje tegenvallen. De kaart integreert mooi in de MacBook, maar het uitsteeksel is zwart. Ik dacht dat hij aluminium zou zijn.
