The Vertex Nyle Compressor provides more picky bassists and guitarists with the kind of bright, squeaky-clean tone you can hear played back on any classic Funk record from the Seventies. Think Nile Rogers of Chic, mixed with the mastery of Prince and you've already got the right idea. This pedal houses a compressor and preamp combo with a compression section based on the FET compressors used at the close of the Seventies and a British preamp circuit able to shape your sound in excellent detail. This impressive pedal is a worthy power-up for any pedalboard.
