It may be a more compact version of the original Ego but the Wampler Mini Ego offers the same natural tube amp-style compression that can be accurately dialled in via the Blend, Sustain and Volume pots and the Attack and Tone switches. The Mini Ego is perfect when pedalboard space is limited or when you simply don't want to lug its heftier sibling around.
