General

The Magic Trackpad is the first Multi-Touch trackpad for Mac desktop computers. It is equipped with the same Multi-Touch technology as the MacBook Pro trackpad and supports a variety of movements. This device allows you to flip through different pages like you would flip a page in a book, in one fluid movement. Scrolling through websites also feels natural with this trackpad, because you indicate the scrolling speed with your fingertips. This wireless trackpad works via Bluetooth, and you can actually use your Mac mouse simultaneously.

Magic Trackpads Multi-Touch technology

The Magic Trackpad has an impressively large Multi-Touch surface. The top layer is fashioned from advanced slip-free glass so you can enjoy perfect control with more than enough room for scrolling, sweeping, pinching and rotating. The full surface also functions as a mouse click, so the trackpad can be used in lieu of a mouse. Once you get used to working with the Magic Trackpad you'll work faster and more efficiently with all your audio, photo and video software.

Perfect size and Bluetooth

The Magic Trackpad has the same design as the Apple Wireless Keyboard; both are made of aluminium and have the same height and corners. These features combine to make moving between your keyboard and your trackpad a natural, fluid process. The trackpad connects to your Mac via Bluetooth and can be used at a distance of up to 10 metres.
