General
The C05 CL is a handheld condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern. Thanks to this pickup pattern, noise and undesired noise are not registered, so that feedback is reduced to a minimum. The linear flat frequency response ensures that anything between 50 Hz and 18 kHz is uniformly reproduced. This way, the C 05CL perfectly registers the dynamics and characteristics of the voice, all while the internal anti-shock suspension system ensures very low handling noise.

Ik kocht deze microfoon ter vervanging van een van de SM58's die ik al jaren gebruik. Daarbij ben ik voornamelijk afgegaan op de vele positieve recensies en, na een aantal optredens, moet ik zeggen dat ik niets dan positiefs te melden heb. Mooie, stevige microfoon met prima geluid, minstens gelijkwaardig aan een SM58, en dat allemaal voor een ongelooflijk lage prijs.

Vijf sterren voor prijs/kwaliteit. Ik ben er nog niet aan toe gekomen om hem écht te gaan vergelijken met mijn andere veel duurdere Mic's maar de eerste indruk heeft me zeer positief verrast!

Twee besteld van deze microfoons, en aangenaam verrast door de geluidskwaliteit en die van de makelij. Ongetwijfeld zullen er voor véél meer geld wel betere zijn, maar mijn stem komt ook niet in de buurt van Barbra Streisand, alhoewel, met deze microfoon..............................

Ik kan nog niets zeggen over de degelijkheid, maar de geluidskwaliteit is (zeker als je de prijs in je achterhoofd houdt) uitstekend. Frisser dan om het even welke dynamische zangmicrofoon (bijv. de welbekende SM58), maar natuurlijk wel iets minder gedetailleerd dan een goede grootmembraan. Er is nog steeds een redelijk aanwezig proximity effect (wel een stuk minder dan bij bijv. SM58s en goedkope dynamische zangmicrofoons), maar dat hoort nou eenmaal bij cardiods.
De bijgeleverde kabel is redelijk flut (doet z'n werk wel, maar overleeft denk ik geen intensief gebruik). Maar dat ie er bij zit voor dat geld kan eigenlijk al niet ;)

Dit is echt heel veel waar voor je geld. Prima microfoon. Zit ook nog een kabeltje bij en een stevig clipje voor op de microfoon standaard.
