General
Bring the sound of Cuba into your home with the Meinl LC11NT-M Luis Conte quinto. This 11-inch quinto comes from Meinl's Artist series and is based on a design by percussionist Luis Conte. Two layers of high-quality rubberwood have been used for the solid shell. The LC11NT-M has a distinctive warm sound and features a True Skin buffalo skin. A set that is sure to remind you of a traditional Cuban conga thanks to the extra round shaped shell. Absolute top quality as we would expect from Meinl.
Meinl Luis Conte quinto
Luis Conte is a much sought-after top percussionist and regularly performs with world stars. He has Phil Collins, Matonna and Elton John on his record. He can also regularly be found in the studio recording film scores or other genres. Luis Conte has given this quinto a traditional look with a straight T.T.R tension rim. This rim is placed extra close to the bowl for a controlled sound. Sturdy 8 mm tension bolts ensure consistent tension on the sheet. A natural kettle lacquer provides a fresh look. A top-quality quinto to the hand of percussionist Luis Conte. An excellent choice for the advanced percussionist.
