The HCS cymbal from German company Meinl are quite affordable, but they also offer a lot of value for money. The HCS16C is a durable 16-inch crash made from MS63 brass. and it is the middle of the three available HCS crashes (which 14, 16 and 18 inches, respectively).
Meinl HCS crash
This crash cymbal has an excellent all-round character as it's not overly loud or brash, favouring a warmer sound instead. It offers smooth attack with a medium sustain, after which the sound morphs into a pleasantly complex spread. Your crash cymbal is an integral part of any piece of drumming in pop or rock music. This HCS16C offers you a lot of crash for a very reasonable amount of money.

Deze crash vind ik een aanrader omdat het goedkoop maar ook mooi en helder model is van de Meinl HCS series.
De 16'' Meinl crash geeft een mooi fel en warm geluid dat iedere drummer wardeert.
Het enige minpunt aan deze crash is dat het met mallets of basestick een minder mooi geluid maakt, dus deze crash is alleen echt geschikt voor een drumstel en (naar mijn mening) niet voor een orkest.
Voor de rest is deze Meinl 16'' crash van de HCS series zeker een aanrader!!
