This darbuka has a diameter of 7.875 inches and a depth of 15.5 inches. So there is plenty of room to get a good sound and solid volume. The shell was made of copper, a material with excellent sound characteristics. True to tradition, this vase drum is hand-finished and features colourful, engraved patterns. As we have come to expect from Meinl, this instrument is of excellent quality.
