General

Ableton Live 9 software is a great way to find your footing in the world of music production. It offers a visual method of music production which enables you to create blocks containing MIDI and/or audio data which you can organise on a grid. You can control them on the computer or with an Ableton controller. Basically, it enables you to work with a project as a whole instead of a collection of individual notes, which what makes it so different from other DAWs on the market.

New functions in Ableton Live 9 Intro

Ableton have developed a brand-new sound browser for Ableton Live 9 Intro, as well as 4 GB of sounds. It also offers a clear overview for the sounds you make yourself. Another feature is the ability to automate parameters by drawing a curve with your mouse or using a rotary knob on your Ableton controller. With the enhanced DSP effects in this innovate, complete software package, your Ableton production will sound more professional than ever before!

Who is this software for?

The way this software works makes it perfect for electronic music producers who specialise in genres like house, dance, trance and dubstep. It also offers the option to work on a project using an external controller, which is equally handy for live applications as well. Ableton does not only cater to these specific genres, however, and offers a wide array of orchestral sounds as well, for instance. At the end of the day, if you want to transform your musical ideas into a format that can be performed in a live setting, Ableton is a must-have!
