Ableton's Live 9 Standard producer software download offers a unique approach to composing and producing that is especially popular in the EDM genre. With this DAW, you can create blocks of MIDI and/or audio data, organise them on a grid, and determine when each block plays, optionally using an Ableton controller.
Features of the Ableton Live 9 Standard
Ableton allows you to make your own material for the audio blocks, or use the 11 GB of samples in a wide variety of musical genres. There are about 1100 sounds at your disposal as well as an impressive selection of virtual effects. Automating parameter changes is probably the most popular aspect of this software, as it enables you to fade in a drum loop using a dull-to-bright filter by changing the parameters of its tonal characteristics. You can do this by drawing a curve yourself with your mouse. For best results on stage, use the rotary knobs and controls on an Ableton controller to adjust these parameters any way you like.
