For about a decade now, Acid Pro 7 has been the market leader in loop-based software. Naturally, version 7 of the software features all the core audio functions, including automatic pitch and tempo, real-time loop monitoring, an endless number of audio tracks and the familiar pick/paint/play interface. Additionally, this package contains more than 3,000 Sony Sound Series loops and over 1,000 MIDI files. As soon as you open the box, you can get right down to business.

The MIDI sequencer of this Sony Acid Pro 7 production software package gives you full and total control over everything you play and synchronise. All notes and data can be recorded and processed. Using track envelopes, it's possible to automate and modify modulation, expression, pitch or any other type of MIDI data. MIDI quantisation and an elaborate drum editor are also at your disposal.

A separate mixer is not required to make a great final mix - Acid Pro 7 offers you a digital, fully automated alternative. You're able to specify your audio routings, to assign audio effects to your tracks and to use external hardware effects. The software supports VST, VSTi and DirectX plug-ins and virtual instruments to boot.
