All of this is protected by stainless steel cover plates engraved with the iconic Marine Band stamp, retaining a traditional look, while the combination of pear wood with copper produces naturally warm yet expressive and raw notes, and irresistibly rich, full chords. The E-major tuning is often used to play in B.
