General
Tombo has been making various models of harmonicas since 1917. When making the Tombo Folk Blues MKII 1210 G diatonic harmonica, a loud sound was chosen. This fits well with musical styles to which it owes its name: folk and blues. The comb is made of maple wood, which ensures warm tones. Mounted on it are 1.1 mm thick brass tuning plates. This provides volume, but the thickness also allows for easy overblowing and bending of notes. The cover plates are made of stainless steel and feature an ornate engraving.
