What immediately stands out about the Tombo Folk Blues MKII Bb diatonic harmonica is the wooden comb. This dark-coloured comb is made of Japanese maple, a type of wood that delivers a warm tone. In addition, the instrument has a high volume, making it suitable for the styles it is named after. In folk and blues, as well as rock 'n roll and rhythm & blues, the harmonica is often allowed to blow heavily. A 1.1 mm thick tuning plate ensures that notes are easily bent and overblown. The shiny cover plates are made of stainless steel and engraved. As it is a shame if dust or scratches damage the harmonica, you get a storage box with it.
