General
This compact DJ MIDI controller by Behringer consists of different pads that are ideal for triggering cues, but also for samples, loops and other events. This controller gives you the option of triggering up to 8 hot cues, and you'll also find 8 rotary encoders available with a backlit LED ring that indicates parameters. At the very top there's an extra grid with 8 pads with an integrated fat rotary encoder in the middle.
MPC-style DC-1 sample and loop controller
Seeing as the use of samples, loops and hot cues is only getting more popular, especially with the trending of drum & bass and dubstep, a controller such as this one is more than welcome! With this controller you can create live on-the-fly remixes by cutting the tracks up and combining them into a new creative mix. After all, there's a good reason why so many artists in these genres typically bring samplers with them. With the creation of the CMD series, this DC-1 makes a great addition to your DJ rig.
Connectable CMD controllers
The controllers from the CMD series connect perfectly with one another, and not only when it comes to software, but hardware as well. This means that it's easy to create your own personalized DJ setup with just the controllers you need. The DC-1 makes a nice addition to an existing setup, but it can also serve as the core of a new configuration. It's also possible to use multiple models together. But that's not all! The controllers can be physically connected to one another with the help of a mounting plate that you'll find on the bottom of every CMD controller. With such a setup, your controllers will stay firmly in place, even with intense use!

Verwacht geen Ableton Push kwaliteit voor dit geld. De knoppen zijn degelijk, maar stug. Als ik de draaiknoppen gebruik geeft dat wat gebruiksongemak in Ableton. Pas na drie rondes draaien heb ik een functie op max staan. Het is me niet gelukt om dit in één ronde, of een halve ronde draaien te fixen. Ook lukt het me niet om de kleuren van de knoppen te wijzigen van oranje naar blauw. Maar volgens mij ligt dit bij mij aan de MIDI feedback instellingen die niet bij de instapversie van Ableton beschikbaar zijn. Dat idee kreeg ik na een zoektocht op internet waar mensen in forums hetzelfde probleem hadden.
OP het volgende filmpje kan je de midicontroller in gebruik zien, zelfs mijn dochter kan ermee overweg. ;)

Je débute le beatmaking avec ceci est parfait, réactivités instantanée , potard précis, sélecteurs de pistes au top , pads avec retour , pas trop dur , pas trop sensible
Service client et livraison au top
Seul - c'est le mapping behringer pour Ableton Live qui ne correspond pas du tout au produit (mapping de players de crack , DT nom de drumpad . . .) donc prévoir sans mapping ou un peu de python avec MAX

Bij de behringer cmd dc-1 wordt de software 'deckadance' bijgeleverd, ten eerste moet je de full versie kopen om te zorgen dat het goed werkt, daarna heb ik nog steeds problemen met het mappen, het is echt een slecht programma als je af en toe de functie van de knoppen wilt veranderen, dit gaat namelijk voor geen meter, verder werd mij verteld door een bax-shop medewerker dat ik het mixergedeelte van mijn hercules dj console rmx er gewoon bij kon gebruiken, dit ging absoluut niet.
Ik heb spijt van mijn keuze voor dit product, ik heb er alleen nog maar problemen mee gehad, ik hoop dat behringer nog iets aan de problemen met de software kan doen of dat er een andere software wordt bijgeleverd.
Kortom, denk goed na voor welke doeleinden je dit apparaat wilt kopen, wil je het kopen voor deckadance om gemakkelijk loops en andere leuke functies te gebruiken, dan raad ik dit apparaat niet aan, ik heb het ook met virtual dj geprobeerd maar met dit programma kun je nooit het maximale uit het de dc-1 halen, ik denk dat het voor traktor wel werkt maar dat moet ik nog maar zien, ben nu aan het sparen voor mijn derde software, de andere twee hebben me niks geholpen

heb de cmd dc-1 nu ruim een maand in bezit en werkt ontzettend fijn. op de site van behringer staat een standaard mapping voor traktor, maar door een pdf bestand met de controller map is deze ook erg eenvoudig zelf te mappen icm andere controllers in traktor.
controller voelt stevig aan. knoppen zijn perfect, niet te soepel, niet te stroef. encoders voelen ook fijn aan. erg handig is de feedback functie hiervan waardoor je altijd op je controller ziet wat je doet en dus minder op je scherm hoeft te kijken.ook erg handig is de scroller bovenin, waarmee je snel en eenvoudig door je bibliotheek kan bladeren en nummers kan selecteren.
heb tot nu toe geen minpunten kunnen ontdekken. al met al een hele fijne controller, en dat voor een erg lage prijs!
