Allen & Heath dLive C2500 digital mixer

General

The dLive series by Allen & Heath makes live mixing easier. The C2500 is the middle-sized version and has a 12-inch touch screen and 20 faders that can be divided into 6 layers for a total of 120 channels. By connecting a CDM mix rack to your mixer via the gigaACE connection, you can get loads of mixing work done quickly and easily. The screen is a great tool for keeping an eye on your channel processing as well as the general status, setup, memory management, and much more.

Clear overview

The dLive C2500 has been given a straightforward layout so you can focus on making music without having to jump from menu to menu in order to make adjustments. On the right-hand side, there are 19 SoftKeys which you can assign to go to a specific function such as any of the various EQs, compressors or preamps. All these can all be called up easily thanks to DEEP processing. If you want to connect an external audio interface (Dante, Waves and more), you can do so using the specialised port.

More and even more

This mixer is basically an extension of the heart of your setup, which is the mix rack. It still has a lot of features to offer, including six XLR line inputs and outputs for your analogue signal, but the best thing about it are the digital connections. The most important is the gigaACE link (RJ45) for connecting the CDM with the C2500. Furthermore, it boasts a word clock for time-sensitive equipment, two network ports for connecting a computer, and a DX link (RJ45) for even more inputs. On the top, there are two USB ports for recording and managing your music.
