The Roland HS-5 Session Mixer is a fully digital mixer that enables five musicians to rehearse in silence, wearing headphones. Each musician can make his or her own monitor mix and apply effects. The HS-5 offers various COSM effects, including amp modelling for guitar and bass guitar, and each channel has its own reverb control. With the Session Mixer, it's possible to record your music without a computer - it records your two-track songs directly to a USB stick. A Separate Monitor Mix for Every Band Member

Using the control panel of the HS-5, each member of your band can select an input signal type, choosing between a line input - for keys, (electronic) drums, guitar or bass - or a microphone input. Subsequently, each band member can mix the incoming signals and listen to the result via a 3.5mm or 6.35mm headphone output. A master mix is also easily created. Simply press the main mix button and use the designated knobs to determine the level of each input. The Session Mixer transmits this master mix to the master output or records it to a USB stick.

Channels A through D of the HS-5 allow you to use amp modelling. For guitar there are ten amplifier simulations to choose from, and five models are available for bass guitar. Roland HS-5 Session Mixer

Vandaag eerste keer mee gerepeteerd in de huiskamer, dat viel niet tegen! Gitaar, Bas, (elektronische)drum en Rhodes piano aangesloten, met nog een extra synth op de extra line in (Kanaal E). Via USB werkt de HS-5 ook als audio interface en had via laptop een keyboard met software synths aangesloten. Het geluid is prettig en goed te mixen voor iedereen, na een tijdje vergeet je dat je met koptelefoons op zit. Ideaal voor thuis repeteren zonder overlast voor de buren. Ook kun je alle sporen apart opnemen via je DAW, nog niet gedaan maar lijkt wel makkelijk te doen. Wij hebben dit apparaat gezamenlijk als band aangeschaft, waardoor de investering overzichtelijk blijft en er tegelijk ook kosten bespaard worden op huur van oefenruimte. Kortom een aanrader, volgens mij een redelijk uniek apparaat want concurrent JamHub is niet meer.

Uitstekend apparaat om aan de keukentafel met je band te kunnen repeteren. Het is Plug & Play. De effecten voor amp moddeling zijn ook dik in orde. Om alle functies te kunnen gebruiken is het wel even studeren op de handleiding maar dan heb je ook wat. Iedereen zijn eigen mixer en ook erg handig dat je met 1 druk op de knop de main mix kan opnemen. Levering van Bax ook weer primadeluxe.
