The Klotz CATLink range is a handy series of mini adapters and this CLAES-MINI04 is no exception. Indeed, this cable is capable of quite a lot. Using an etherCON connector placed in a sturdy aluminium housing on the one hand and four channels with 3p male XLR connectors on the other, this cable provides transmission of four analogue or eight digital audio signals, or also four DMX/MIDI signals. Moreover, this is done very stably over long distances up to even 100 metres without interference or other disturbances. The latter thanks to efficient double shielding. The 4-channel pigtail fans out over a length of 80 centimetres, smoothly through the flexible but sturdy PVC cable jacket. Keeping the cables apart? That's child's play: as the XLR connectors are laser-engraved and colour-coded.
