An upright piano with all the modern and digital features for home use, as well as a natural playing experience and trusty sound? Meet the Medeli DP650K with its 88 hammer-action keys. Equipped with an A5 processor, this digital piano constructs each note out of five different layers for authentic decay and so that you can easily add timbral nuance and volume to your playing while, thanks to a 256 polyphony, no musical challenge is too much for the DP650K.

The DP650K: K8 Triple Sensor, Hi-Fi & Mic Input

Both subtle and more swift piano styles are accurately captured by the K8 triple sensor, which records the release of the keys at three different spots so that the A5 sound engine can perform as optimally as possible. Next to the usual connectors for MIDI and USB, the DP650 features a special Hi-Fi section that lets you play back recorded audio and existing mp3s and, if desired, you can plug a microphone into the mic input and layer various special effects on top of your vocals.

Sound-Packed, Twinova, Split & Connectivity

Besides the 40 pre-programmed sounds, you can summon another 128 additional ones plus 8 drum kits via the GM bank. To enjoy these while playing together in the same register with a friend, simply split the keyboard in two via the Twinova mode. The Split function lets you set a different timbre for the bass and high notes and if you're looking to ease into digital sheet music, the DP650K can be connected to the Apple Connection Camera Kit via Medeli's special app. Last but not least, 90 songs and 40 demos have been loaded into the digital piano, which comes complete with a power adapter, frame and three pedals.
