General
The Teenage Engineering OB-4 Magic Radio is a truly unique throwback-style portable Bluetooth speaker fitted two powerful 38W speakers ready to deliver pure hi-fi sound. Its ingenious minimal design makes using this multi-functional speaker an extremely smooth process, while the 'magic' it offers refers in part to the instant-rewind function for the radio. This means that the OB-4 internally stores the last two hours broadcast by the radio station you've been listening to, and lets you rewind, time-stretch and even loop the audio using a satisfying, motorised knob.
The Teenage Engineering OB-4: Radio, Bluetooth, Line, Ambient, Metronome, Karma
Dubbed a 'media instrument' by Teenage Engineering themselves, the OB-4 also features an experimental Disk Mode which includes Ambient, Karma and Metronome modes. Using snippets from radio broadcasts, Ambient Mode creates relaxing ambient sounds, while Metronome Mode is literally a digital metronome that can be set between 1 and 800 BPM. Lastly, Karma Mode, presents a 30-in-1 musical mantra box filled with spiritual sounds to guide you during yoga or meditation sessions. Pure, unique magic in a tight wee box.

Zalige speaker. Klinkt goed en ziet er mooi uit. Ik gebruik hem als radio en als output voor als ik zelf muziek maak. Spelen met de loop functie op je eigen beatjes is pure Fun.

Te gek apparaat, vette sound met een stevige bass. De functie om alle input te kunnen terugspoelen en loopen is erg leuk en gebruik ik als creatieve tool. Het is jammer dat er geen line out op zit. De OB-4 is zeer mooi afgewerkt met goeie knoppen. Een aanrader voor wie wat meer van een bluetooth speaker verlangt.
