General

The Mercury Box, with its convincing tube sounds, has a colleague in the form of the Brunetti Mercury2Box. Like the Mercury Box, this warm effect pedal goes from crunch to distortion and features two very dependent controls, just like on a tube amp. However, the Mercury 2 Box sets itself apart with its second channel, which allows you to boost the solo with the touch of a button, as well as control gain and volume per channel. Moreover, it features separate controls for trebles and mids.

Mercury2Box: just like a tube amp

The Italian brand Brunetti knows how a tube amplifier is supposed to sound. They're the makers of the successful Brunetti CustomWork Mercury amp head, after all. The Mercury Box is a stomp box made to emulate the warm, smooth overdrives and distortions of the tube amp as closely as possible, all while retaining the clear, pure core of the guitar signal. There's a good reason the pedal is called Fluid Distortion.

Fantastic OD.

Really uncomplicated, silent even at high gain settings, and sounds great.

Gobs of sustain, and lovely old school crunch, liquid searing overdrive..... there's a lot going there, and yet super simple to use.

Een zeer goed 2-kanaals amp-in-a-box pedaal. M'n favoriet momenteel, naast de Friedman BE-OD Deluxe.
Beide zorgen voor een dynamisch & veelzijdig slag- en sologeluid, en zijn een goede basis voor een pedalboard.

Prachtig apparaat. Van soft distortion naar stevige metal, alles kan dit pedaal aan, met supergedetailleerde precisie.
